The Raintree Restaurant in St. Augustine: Casual Dining at Its Finest

A classic in St. Augustine gastronomy, the Raintree Restaurant combines high quality surf & turf cuisine with its beautiful historic surroundings, creating one satisfying dining experience.

Keeping with the traditional Florida narrative, the owners of Raintree came to St. Augustine from Old Country (England) seeking a new life. In 1981 they opened a restaurant in a century old Victorian building near the city’s historic district. Raintree has since become internationally recognized as one of Florida’s top dining venues.

The intercontinental menu blends Mediterranean, American, and Asian cuisine. If you’re trying to stick to a budget though, go simply for their popular dessert menu. Staff brings out options via iPad, and there is surely something to satisfy everyone.

Friday and Saturday features live music on the patio outside.

The 400 bottle wine list has been a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence winner since 1987.

Vegetarians beware: options are limited to eggplant parmesan, lasagna puntanesca, and a few other plates.

Note that a 15% gratuity will be automatically added to your bill for your server. For those who require separate checks, 17% gratuity will be included.

Reservations are recommended.
