The world's capital of entertainment or more commonly, Las Vegas, is a place of many twists and turns. Whether you are talking of gambling, playing golf, attending concerts, fine dining or even getting a high-end escort, the city is unrivaled. In my quest to see whether the city lives up to its name in terms of 'making it happen' I sought to establish whether it has some eateries that serve world-class oysters. Below is a sample of the results of my research of the top 5 oyster restaurants in the city.

Where to get the best Oysters in Las Vegas

The world's capital of entertainment or more commonly, Las Vegas, is a place of many twists and turns. Whether you are talking of gambling, playing golf, attending concerts, fine dining or even getting a high-end escort, the city is unrivaled. In my quest to see whether the city lives up to its name in terms of 'making it happen' I sought to establish whether it has some eateries that serve world-class oysters. Below is a sample of the results of my research of the top 5 oyster restaurants in the city.

1. AquaKnox

Have you ever heard of the sake-ponzu oyster shooters served with Champagne mignonette sauce? Of course you will not have heard of it if you have never been to this Las Vegas oyster bar. It serves one of the best oysters in the northern hemisphere.

2. Big Al’s Oyster Bar

In this oyster bar, you will find American creativity at its best. How would you love to have alcoholic oyster shooters such as Lemon Drop with citrus vodka, Cajun Olé with tequila, cocktail sauce and hot sauce? Trust me; it cannot get as Vegas as this.

3. Big Sur Oyster Bar

The Louisiana Gold Seal oysters are legendary for their nutritional value, but Big Sur Oyster Bar does not stop there. It serves the oyster with lobster grilled cheese with an option of pan-fried oysters with pico de gallo. This is a dish that is not to be missed by those who love oysters.

4. Bouchon

This oyster bar is renowned around Vegas for its Miyagis from California and briny Chelsea Gems from Washington. The staff will serve you the oysters with champagne or creamy chardonnay...talk of class...

5. Comme Ça

This eatery is as exclusive as its name suggests. It serves a selection of 12 different oyster dishes before serving you up with duck confit and steak frites. The eclectic delicacies coupled with the views of the Las Vegas Strip makes this eatery a must visit.

Vegas never ceases to amaze me...even after thinking that its eateries will at best serve a mediocre oyster, it brings out a five star experience in relatively small eateries. If you doubt it, why not try one of the above restaurants and see for yourself?
